EPIPHANY 2 01-14-2024
Called. The young child Samuel listened to the voice of God. Two men, Philip and Nathanael, followed the Son of God. Closer to our own lifetimes, a young man named Martin Luther King Jr. also dreamed a dream of God’s Kingdom and walked the walk. Now it’s our turn. Come and see who Jesus is! Open your eyes, heart, and mind to God’s message, to God’s vision, in flesh and blood, in spirit and in power. Open your eyes, heart, and mind to a new understanding of yourself. Then, transformed by what you see and sense, go and tell others. Don’t just dream – do something. This news about God’s love for us is so good that it’s hard not to share. Join the Jesus journey! What are you being urged, called, or summoned to do?
