Why We Tithe
Tithing is more than just a financial transaction—it’s an act of worship and trust in God. When we tithe, we acknowledge that everything we have comes from God and express our gratitude by giving back a portion. As Malachi 3:10 says, “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.”

What Your Tithe Does
Your faithful giving supports the mission of St. Peter’s and impacts lives in powerful ways. It helps us:

  • Provide ministry programming for children, youth, seniors, and adults.
  • Reach out to those in need in our community and beyond via food distribution, providing neighborhood meeting room space, etc.
  • Create a welcoming, clean, and functional space where people can encounter God through Christ Jesus.
