Weekly Announcements for the week of October 11, 2026

Weekly Announcements for the week of October 11, 2026.

Christian women (and men also), know your worth. Your true worth is not a variable to be determined by your physical body, the opinions of others, your achievements, your relationship status, or your past mistakes. Your true worth is centered in and anchored by the love of God your Creator, the heavy price that Jesus paid to redeem you, and the guiding presence of the Holy Spirit. Walk with your head held high, clothed in the strength and the dignity that God has gifted you. May you go forth from this place renewed, refreshed, revived, and responsible. Don’t love others as others love you, but love others as Jesus Christ loves you. Be the difference in our world.

ELCA World Hunger: $2,346 to date.
Lutheran Charities (KenCrest Services, Lutheran Settlement House, and Gemma Services, three service ministries in the Philadelphia metropolitan area): $961 to date.

We invite you to share in our new life together –
LOVE, NOT HATE.
PEACE, NOT VIOLENCE.
MERCY, NOT GREED.
JUSTICE, NOT ABUSE.
HUMILITY, NOT ARROGANCE.
GOD’S TRUTH, NOT LIES.
THE WAY OF JESUS, NOT JUST “MY WAY”.
